Branka Bhoyrul
My name is Branka Bhoyrul, and I live in La Paz, Bolivia with my three young children. To me, professional photography can be summed in one word: art. From my early shoots in the mountains of Slovenia where I grew up, to fine art portraits, weddings, engagements and maternity shoots across the world, I have always approached every project the same way: delivering a timeless set of images that are a work of art, which will shine a light across many generations past and present. This is my passion and my profession. For the past 12 years I have worked as a photographer in Dubai specializing in weddings, profiles, kids and documentary style photography.
And since August this year, I have brought this to the wonderful country of Bolivia. Based out of La Paz in the San Miguel area, I am happy to take on a variety of projects - particularly weddings, which I specialize in.
Earlier this year I received the global recognition award from the international trade body DFA and NAPCP. But in truth, my greatest awards are the thank yous from the couples I photograph on their special day, hopefully playing my part in making it a perfect day.
